Southern Nevada home sales up in 2024 but down from record highs

Home sales in Southern Nevada increased in 2024, with 31,305 properties sold, an 8% rise from 2023. The median price for single-family homes slightly decreased to $475,000 in December but is up 5.6% from the previous year. Condos and townhomes also saw a price drop to $290,000, though this reflects a 7.4% increase year-over-year. The market remains stable, with a significant rise in unsold listings. Total sales value in December reached nearly $1.1 billion for homes and over $144 million for condos.
