Nevada governor’s ‘attainable housing’ bill passes key vote

Nevada's Assembly unanimously approved Governor Joe Lombardo's Assembly Bill 540, advancing efforts to address the housing crisis. The bill includes a $133 million attainable housing fund, expands affordable housing definitions to include those earning up to 150% of area median income, and aims to expedite housing development approvals. It now moves to the Senate for consideration before the Legislature adjourns.
